No Eye Candy

Blogger or Google-thing or whoever now runs the world seems to have decided that I can't upload any more photos here .
So you'll just have to imagine what Groningen looked like last Saturday ... twinkly .
And rather busy . And full of large people carrying huge parcels . And crowded with people cycling past with Christmas trees . Those of us who are neither agrophobic or claustrophobic had a lovely time .
In fact it was so nice , I'm going to Den Haag on Saturday to Christmas shop there .
Not that I'm having much luck actually finding anything suitable . There was in fact a moment last night , when I wondered if it wouldn't just be O.K. to send everybody a Playmobil airplane via Amazon ...

But now I've bought some lovely gift tags and it would be a shame not to use them

I'm sure it was all very festive. How did you anger the Google-thing God?

I truly have only seen Christmas trees atop cars. I googled it, and found many lovely descriptions of bringing yule home on a bike!

You've painted a great picture. Good luck with Christmas shopping part 2. My two days doing something similar in London resulted in quite a number of purchases. Turns out most of them were for me.

Gahhhh! Get hold of someone in your neighborhood who is 25 years old, entice them into your house with baked goods, and then tie them to a chair and tell them you won't let them go (or give them any more cookies) until they figure out how to post photos on your blog! Barring that, just contact Blogger and ask them for help. But really, we need the photos!!

I was full of good intent to 'shop locally' this year ... but poorly tummies got in the way so a big Amazon order is on the way I fear.

But you don't get twinkly lights and a festive atmosphere with Amazon. A playmobil aeroplane sounds fine to me.
