Humph !

Sonata:

This is what I had planned for today

wandering round the big Collectors' Fair in Utrecht .

But the Dutch train system had something else in mind and a signals fire in Utrecht has turned what would have been a two-hour journey into an open ended odyssey for only the truly determined .

So I'm doing this instead ( and possibly baking some of A Wee Bit Of Cooking's savoury muffins )

Smitonius , who seems to have perfected a cough to wake the dead , says she'll be recovered enough to blog tomorrow, too .

Does anyone like November ?

I love November...when I'm not moving. LOL!!
Looks like your Plan B was almost as good...

Nope, can't say that I do. First off, it means October is over (my favorite month), and second it means the holidays are coming, highlighting my empty pockets with stark fluorescent bulbs.

Nothing has been going right here either...
I know those coughs. It used to be called 'barking' at home.
Hope your weekend wasn't totally spoiled by the change of plan.

Definitely HATE November. Shame about the hats, but reading, baking and sewing seem like pretty good antidotes to the season. Penny x

Oh November can be so lovely early in the month. And later, those misty mornings closing in, muting sounds and covering everything in that greyness that makes you glad to get indoors. It's December that does me in!

Me! Because I'm a November baby.

I do. Love November, that is. Not loving the hacking cough I've developed, nor being prevented by snow from going to the shop to buy forgotten Christmas cake ingredients.

I don't think anybody in their right mind likes November.
