New lick of paint

Smitonius:

Our doors and windows were in a great need for a lick of paint, but the garden facing windows and doors are now a fresh green:

The front door is a bright and cheerful red:

We chose the door knocker in honour of our many urban foxes who wonder through our garden. And, finally, we have been able to name our house... though the decorator didn't quite place the tiles in the correct way, it still looks welcoming, don't you think?

Lighthearted, cheerfully restrained colors! I like the touches of the fox door knocker and the hanging planter.
How were the tiles meant to be arranged?
They look fine to me, although if I look at it analytically enough, it does appear to be asking, "May I cottage?"
To which I would answer, "Of course you may cottage."

Just excellent. Right down to the foxy knocker.

Very nice. I do like a bit of fresh paint on a house - like washing a child's face!

Was it supposed to be 'Yam Cottage'?
