Finished Object

Or , as they say in crafting Blogspeak, FO. The very little boy has finally turned up to claim his quilt.

Not, despite family fears, called Ptolemy, Horatio or Agamemnon he looks, according to his fond Papa, like a grumpy pixie. Middle Daughter is having a well-earned rest and Grandson has seen him and survived.

And we're all trying to restrain ourselves and not move in en masse, cooing .

New babies need to be cooed over at all hours, otherwise how else would they know how lovely they are? - stop being so restrained!

I think, as Rachel does, that new babies call for unrestrained cooing by all their relatives!!

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to coo. With grandmotherly emphasis! And when you arrive for said coo-ings, best remember an impressive 'something' for Grandson (impressive enough to mostly make up for all the coo-ing malarkey).

HEARTIEST CONGRATULATORIES!

Congratulations! Fascinated re what the name might actually be...
I should have had an exotic name but my father put his foot down and I have this awful one. I actually like the one that was stolen from me!
Lovely time to have a baby, time to recover before Christmas as well.
