So, there may or may not be a photo or two with this and there's no real way of knowing what it'll be of .
Sadly it won't be a shot of the young man wrestling to get a neighbour's new sofa upstairs on his own , yesterday . A very comfortable , fulsomely upholstered three-seater sofa . In the lift whose doors as a result couldn't quite close . He , neighbour and I stood looking at it , arm rest only really very slightly protruding .
If we pulled it out and started again ? Perhaps it would fit at an angle ? Diagonally ? On its side ? Perhaps it could be tipped up a bit and she and I could get under it and prop it up ? Whereupon he stopped listening to us ...
Anyway , by the time I'd got back from the mailbox , he was manhandling it into her third floor front door and and she'd made coffee . Lovely biscuits .
Neighbour and I decided that we didn't really want to go into the removals business anyway . And the young man , who turned out to be her nephew , seemed to agree .
Meanwhile Picasa has decided to post this photo of a Groninger Museum's car advertising their latest exhibition ,

"Christmas-impaired concentratrion levels." So that's what it's called. I was wondering what ailed me!
Sounds like that Friends episode, the one in which Ross keeps instructing, 'Pivot, pivot'. It was probably a good idea not to get the camera out, although.......
Ha ha, the gasoline goes right in the Thinker's head! That'll rev him up!
The sofa dilemma remind's me of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency in which it necessitated time travel to get the sofa unstuck.
No time travel involved ... he 'phoned a friend and they carried it up the stairs .
It sounds as though the sofa mover used both brain & brawn. May the future be full of cars that run on mind over matter power. We are expecting a new Rodin exhibit in San Francisco in the coming months. I love the plaster works and drawings that lead to the bronze pieces. It's been years since I saw all that and I'm ready to go again.
Christmas-impairment. Good thinking; I shall use that one. The Gardener and I are getting too many slightly-alarming hints of how dotty our old age will be; we must start marshalling our cover-up excuses..... Good luck with Picasa and Blogger - both fiendishly difficult at times!
I wonder if this might be a new way of kick starting a blog post. Go to the photos, stick a virtual pin in and write about whatever comes up. No cheating. Happy New Year!
It is definitely a man thing, having visual spatial awareness. (I just ran into the other room and asked Husband: 'what's the thing I don't have? No, don't laugh, I mean the thing where I can't tell how much I can get into a jug?' Spatial, that's the word I was trying to remember.)
