A peek and open again

Smitonius:

Because Marcheline was curious, I am going to give you a sneek peek of the kitchen... but there is now so much stuff back in place, it is hard to see the paint for the ornaments.

This is the kind of household where every inch is covered, and any kind of kitsch finds a home - and we love bright colours, look at the bathroom:

If I could, I would share this bottle with you all, because - apart from a redecoration housewarming -

SmitoniusandSonata's Etsy shop has re-opened again. Sonata sold a quilt within hours, so that is worth raising a glass to!

Cheers! Beautiful home you have there. Wish I'd seen the quilt before it was snavelled up. Look forward to the next!

Well, thanks for the tour (and the mention)! And congrats on your new Etsy shop. I've just opened a new one, myself, but haven't gotten around to listing any items just yet.

LOVE your kitchen (I want to get in there and read all your bottles, see what sort of stuff you keep there), and the bathroom walls remind me of Tuscany a bit... lovely!

Love those colours! I am SO bored with white and the walls need painting, but, I need courage to just dive in and be daring....Maybe I could get some from one of your bottles??

I do like your green shelf. Folksy yet chic.

Can I send you all the bric-a-brac I found in MFB's hurch?

Great choice of colours in your kitchen! I admire people who can manage the new minimalism but i can't relate to it myself.

I once had a bathroom with a tangerine ceiling and an orange door, pale blue tiles and a white and orange 70's flower power Cushionfloor! I loved it! :) And the only bit I didn't do was the tiling - that came with the house. I remember having great fun cutting the flooring to fit round pipes and loo, and I even fixed some on the bath panel too - very jolly!

'Course you realized that I meant 'hutch'. HJinksy's comment reminded me of the tangerine and yellow op-art wallpaper I had in my bedroom once. And then there was the tent dress in a similar pattern...

The kind of rooms in which I'd love to sip tea (or bubbly) and languish ~ congrats on the etsy shop too, I'm off now to have a peak ♥

Household inches were invented to be covered. I am not the slightest bit surprised over the quilt business either.
