This half-term .....

Sonata:

I fell in love with a pork pie

crocheted by Kate Jenkins and , appropriately enough , in Melton Mowbray's Museum .

Braved the seething masses in the Natural History Museum to buy dinosaur tattoos , a wind-up torch and a green lizard .

Didn't eat this

though I may have partaken of the odd other little something or two . Cigala in Lamb's Conduit Street comes to mind , for some reason .....

Didn't bid on any clocks , however tempting and decoratorish

Was briefly tempted to take up riding again but it rained

and , declining the offer to sky dive , even Wii-fully ,

settled on cheering on the table tennis enthusiasts from the sidelines , instead .

Love the pork pie!! But it's cute enough to make me consider vegetarianism...

What a very cute pork pie ... are they making a run for it? How far is the green belt these days from the museum? Aaaaah ... I've come over all nostalgic for some adventures like these in the MOtherland, seething masses and all!

Not very adventurous, are you?
You could have ridden off into the sunset after eating a few of those port pies.

Now that horse even I would enjoy riding!

I love this post--it reads like a graphic novel, where snippets of text receive their punch lines from pictures.

Blogger in Turkey, incidentally, is open and closed unpredictably. I can get on right now but not an hour ago. So I use the time as I may--and am working on moving the whole blog to a new website. Thanks for your lovely words in the comment you left!
