Keeping a cat company

Smitonius:

Have had a quiet day recovering from my recent eye laser treatment for Glaucoma, and keeping my cat company. She is now on medication for the kidney failure but, it has to be said, is not too happy about the whole thing so we don't think she is going to hang around for too long. Here she is posing with my new deer stalker hat:

The iridoplasty treatment has made the world an incredibly bright place, so I have taken to look like someone who needs to hide from the paparazzi: dark glasses and a brimmed hat. So I guess I have to start a new collection of brimmed hats for all seasons.....

Sending healing thoughts and hugs to both you and your kitty. You will both be a great comfort to each other, I know, but a little extra from the outside never hurts. 8-)

Hope your eyes feel better, I have glaucoma too, but I'm still at the using drop stage.

I'm with Marcheline - you aren't having a very nice time, are you? A new hat every now and then might help.....

I hope your cat proves you wrong. Mutual nurturing is never a waste of time. Eyes adapt and heal with miracle like speed. Hats rock! (not hat-hair though)

I admire hat-wearers and wish I could be one, but it requires a certain willingness to be visible, I think. There's a wonderful hat shop in the next village and I drool at the window display. Hope you and your kitty recuperate well - she looks a bit disgruntled, which I'm sure you don't.

Recovery wishes for both of you from me too.

Hope you will be tolerating the brightness better as time goes on! Any excuse to buy a new hat is good!

What happened to my comment? I left one days ago.

Anyway, hope you and the cat are having a peaceful time. Good luck and best wishes for a happy Christmas.
