The Music Room

Sonata :
My husband plays the double bass , electric guitar and the keyboard . When I saw this chap standing in a tiny , moored rowing boat in Amsterdam a couple of days ago , I was overcome with admiration for his partner , who seems to have solved the whole music/practice room problem . Why didn't I think of this ?

Meanwhile , if you're queueing for the Ann Frank house this summer , this is the man you can thank for "La Vie En Rose ".

Just wondering if there is some sort of potential in this for the less than immaculately presented sculptor inhabiting my studio.

brilliant ... will also keep this marvellous plan in mind when my daughter comes home stating she would love to learn the violin ... it is but a stone's throw to the North Esk river

My husband sounds 'The Last Post' every November for the local Rememberance service, (once upon a time he used to do it at the Tower of London). He solved the practice problem by taking off into the fields surrounding our house. It went from being a localised nuisance for our neighbours to being a village talking point, as in "We heard Tim practising last night, and we live 4 miles away!"

That is one very brave guy...
I imagine there are far too many critics in the world for one not to resist casting him off and letting him just float away if he didn't meet approval.
